Dr. Penni Waldman has a Ph.D. in clinical and health psychology, licensed in New York and Virginia, and life coach who always had an interest in the well being of others. Dr. Waldman has provided services in nursing homes, hospitals, schools and correctional facilities as well as private practice. She works with children, individuals, couples and families in therapy.
Her research in Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome (CFIDS), provided insight for patients with depression using intramuscular therapy. Much of her research also dealt with health related issues such as weight loss, hypersensitivity to foods with additives and other health related issues. She provided diagnoses and treatment plans.
She worked with a variety of different ethnic families on many issues including: substance abuse, marital, learning disabled, dementia and weight loss issues to name a few. Dr. Waldman worked with AIDS patients early in her career. This led the way for her to pursue a bachelors degree in divinity. Many of her patients wanted to feel closer to GOD. She wanted her patients to feel comfortable as they passed on.
She has been a non denominational minister for the last 25 years. She believes nobody should be left out and utilizes this in her practice when it is appropriate. During that time she became intuitive during a period of illness. At that time, she knew this would help her to help others. Throughout her career, she has been researching and utilizing antioxidants and herbs to decrease disease and to improve a healthy body.
In her private time, Dr. Waldman enjoys traveling to learn about different countries and cultures. Some countries she traveled to include Italy, Netherlands, Canada and Mexico. She studied abroad in Costa Rica, while engaging in the culture and understanding their diverse needs.
