Health is a state of balance of the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The most important factor in all of our lives is health. Health can enhance or diminish our daily functioning. It appears living today has become more challenging.
Weight Loss
According to the CDC, two-thirds (66%) of Americans are overweight or obese. Now that the average body weight tends toward plump rather than svelte, the perception of what's normal may be sliding. Therefore, health issues are increasing with this population. Some health issues may include arthritis, wearing down your skeleton (bad knees, back, etc.), diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, dementia, gastrointestinal issues (gall bladder, fatty liver, etc.) and some forms of cancer. Unfortunately, the list goes on.
Some people needed to utilize medical surgeries to change their gastrointestinal system for weight loss. Some of these procedures include gastric bypass, sleeve, lap band and others. There are many diets and meal replacements being offered.
But I ask you, how did you get here? What happened and changed for you if anything? Yes, the food choices of today changed. We have a lot of different choices. Being on the run have people sometimes grab whatever they can. Lifestyles have also put a burden on our choices in life. But the question remains, how did I get here? Will my choices get me sick? If so, then it will cost me in so many other ways.
What I propose to do is to educate you in the psychological, emotional, socio-economical, physical, behavioral, environmental and cultural causes. These causes need to be addressed because even when the physical body changes everything else has stayed the same. Relapse may be in your immediate future. Your mental and emotional functioning effects your behavior. Therefore, the outcome will come out in the physical body. The way you were culturally reared also provides a story about your individual habits as well. Habits can be changed and your mental processing can be changed. Our socio-economic situation also delegates what we eat. The environment of which we are in can influence us as well. So we need to understand the triggers in those situations.
So I ask you, what do you want to do? Do you want to take control over this epidemic that is increasingly growing across America? Being overweight, obese and morbidly obese will cost us so much more than money. It will cost us our healthy lives, our children, our families and our relationships with others. So what are you waiting for? Join the teleconference group on weight loss. Gain knowledge, gain understanding and gain an education as you LOSE weight.
You heard about many types of dieting that will provide results. Have you heard about weight loss that uses your own body fat, that will deplete itself by losing more than the average weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week, done healthy? Inquire, question it! Don't you owe it to yourself to live the best life you can? The problems of extra weight are not so dramatic as problems of cancer and other disease, but they can cause life long despair. There are so many lives that have been affected negatively with excessive weight. Ask yourself this, how many lives have been altered or shortened? Somehow this program can help you to get your life back with this universal problem. I know, I did it after having this problem for over 20 years.
Remember, you deserve your health and to be the best you can be. I BELIEVE IN YOU!
NUTRITION
Do you know what type of healthy foods you need to eat? What about the knowledge of what type of water to drink? Do you know which herbs and foods are good for you? Educate yourself about food. Food is your friend and does not have to be your enemy. Learn about foods that you believe are healthy which may have negative effects. For example, did you know spinach, kale, chard, parsley, collards and beet greens may impact your body negatively if you have sensitivity to oxalic acid? It also may interfere with the absorption of calcium. Did you know there are food enhancers that are sometimes added to your food? How can you protect yourself?

BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES
Chronic Fatigue Immune Deficiency Syndrome, (CFIDS)
CFIDS is characterized by persistent fatigue and other specific symptoms that lasts for a minimum of six months in adults and three months in children or adolescents (0.2-2.3%). Some of the specific symptoms include but are not limited to: malaise after exertion, unrefreshing sleep, muscle and joint pain, sore throat, headaches not previously experienced, cognitive difficulties, chronic and severe mental exhaustion, muscle weakness, sensitivity to light, sounds and smells, depression, cardiac and respiratory problems, weight issues, digestive issues etc. Chronic Fatigue symptoms vary in number, type, and severity from person to person.
National health organizations have estimated more than one million Americans and approximately a quarter of a million people in the United Kingdom have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It occurs more often in women than men and is less prevalent among children and adolescents.
CFIDS poses a threat to health, happiness and productivity. There are many patients that need to receive disability benefits. Many people do not understand this debilitating syndrome. However, there are different types of treatments that may assist patients to decrease their symptoms.
Vitamin Therapy in the Treatment of Depression Associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, was published in 2000.

Parenting Education
Working with families and their children provided much insight into different parenting skills. Culture and socio-economics have indicated many challenges for the parents of today, as well as other factors. The experience of providing intelligence and achievement testing in the homes of different cultures showed me the frustration that parents had. There were my own challenges evaluating toddlers to school age children with developmental, behavioral and learning disabilities. Children who were fortunate to be "healthy" also frustrated their parents.
It is my belief that as parents, we are to effectively educate the child from negotiating effectively in the children's world where they grow into an adult, to the negotiating effectively in the adult's world.
Unfortunately, parents sometimes meaning well, spoil their child (sometimes due to THEIR issues) and have created many problems for the child and themselves. Entitlements is a big problem as well as no accountability for their actions. We see this all over from many adults. So their needs to be consequences for actions. It also has to do with the comfort of the parent and possibly resolving unresolved issues the parent may have. This is not pointing fingers of blame but to have an understanding and being able to live with homeostasis within the family system.
Join the group and learn helpful techniques to enhance your family! Remember your child is tomorrow's future.
This is something that touched my heart:
Children Learn What They Live
by Dorothy Law Nolte (1924-2005)
If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility, they learn to fight.
If children live with fear, they learn to be apprehensive.
If children live with pity, they learn to feel sorry for themselves.
If children live with ridicule, they learn to feel shy.
If children live with jealousy, they learn to feel envy.
If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.
If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence.
If children live with tolerance, they learn patience.
If children live with praise, they learn appreciation.
If children live with acceptance, they learn to love.
If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.
If children live with recognition, they learn it is good to have a goal.
If children live with sharing, they learn generosity.
If children live with honesty, they learn truthfulness.
If children live with fairness, they learn justice.
If children live with kindness and consideration, they learn respect.
If children live with security, they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them.
If children live with friendliness, they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.

Interfaith Ministry
Being a non-denominational active minister (Universal Brotherhood Movement, Coral Springs, FL), has enhanced my life. Bringing a Higher Power, God, Jesus, Creator, Budda etc. is important for people to know they are not alone. Sometimes due to our lives being so busy, we forget what life is really about. Spirituality brings people together with a higher purpose and understanding of life. Spirituality can lead you to religion and religion can lead you to spirituality. The spirit is always acknowledged. It may be the belief to live life properly and doing what is right by our God, Jesus, Budda, Creator, Higher Power etc. A Higher Power/God draws me to send messages into all communities without any type of discrimination. Therefore, the message comes out for all to understand.

Intelligence and Achievement Testing
Intelligence has been defined in many different ways such as an individual's capacity for logic, abstract thought, understanding, self-awareness, communication, learning, emotional knowledge, memory, planning, creativity and problem solving. When a person's cognitive skills, abilities, and knowledge have been accumulated, the results are of their overall life experiences and their latent ability to use information.
An achievement test is developed to measure a person's level of skill, accomplishment, or knowledge in a specific area. A standardized test measures skills and knowledge learned in a given grade level, through planned instruction. The test is designed to assess how much you know at a specific point in time about a certain topic. They are used to evaluate what you know and your level at that given moment. Achievement tests are not used to determine what you are capable of.
Many parents are interested to know about their child's ability. These tests help and assist schools and colleges for their child's future. For over 10 years I have sub-contracted for the Board of Education in New York City.
Implementing evaluations for children has assisted families, pediatricians and preschools to find any developmental delays. This in turn, has saved time and money to recognize the individual needs of that child.

One important contribution to good health are herbs. Herbs are used for many different reasons. Herbs are generally used for flavoring, food, medicine or perfume. When it is used for cooking, the leafy green parts of the plant are the spice. Some herbs may act as an anti-inflammatory and aid in weight loss as well as other possibilities.
There has been worldwide scientific research that has connected spices to prevention and treatment of many health problems that include heart disease, anxiety, strokes, ulcers, cancer, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer's Disease, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, metabolic syndrome and much more! Herbs and spices are so powerful because they fight oxidation and inflammation. They are the two processes that connect most chronic diseases.
There are four important factors in choosing spices and herbs.
